The wood is kiln dried (which kills all pests, including termites, as well as mold and mildew), contains no additives or chemicals, and is packaged in an easy to carry plastic bag with a reinforced handle. Hotsticks products are kind to your chimney as most of the contaminants have been removed. This pleasant smelling wood mix contains 70% oak wood and a mix of hardwoods.
